Traditional American Annie G’s

Annie G’s Pie and Pancake Restaurant is the perfect restaurant because everyone feels at home, “As I walked in it felt really welcoming” said Sam Williams, a costumer. That is just the response Annie G’s wants to get from costumers. Though it is appetizing and a lot of people will be there, you will just almost never have to wait around for a seat. When you walk in, you feel like you are walking into your own home. The atmosphere feels extremely comfortable. The walls and everything inside was just like mine at home and other costumers feel the same way, “The decorations of the restaurant reminded me of ones that I have in my own home” also said Sam Williams. You will feel extremely relaxed sitting there and eating because the seating is ideal. You have enough space between tables to feel apart but it is close enough to feel cozy. They don’t have much to decorate the place but not too little, perfect to feel at ease.
Annie G’s is in the perfect spot. It is close enough to the dorms of Northern Illinois University, so when the students feel hungry they can just take a nice walk over. The best time to come would be in the morning for breakfast because no wait and good food. Also people driving on the highway will be able to get off and come right on in. The service was nice and inviting when I went there. The waiter was very personable and actually made my dining experience better. “Actually our waiter was pretty entertaining. He was kind of funny” My dinning partner said. He brought the food quick and swiftly so I wasn’t waiting there hungry. He also was very friendly with me and I felt extremely welcomed when I sat down. Everything I ordered was perfect and no mess ups. Actually I got something that I didn’t expect. The waiter asked me instead of hash browns if I would like their special potatoes with cheese into them. This was like a cheesy fluffy heaven and it felt like the waiter wanted what was best for me.
Speaking of the potatoes and how delicious they were, all the food was good including my great glass of orange juice. “The food was really good. It tasted delicious, like a home cooked meal” thought Sam. The menu had a decent variety of foods, but mainly traditional American dishes. I went for breakfast and they had everything that I would want made to perfection. They looked so good almost unreal, “It looked like what you would see on TV” said Sam, a satisfied costumer. The descriptions are made to make your stomach rumble before even seeing the food, which also were so accurate it was better than a picture. You will know exactly what you are getting before you actually get the food. The pricing was very reasonable. For all the food that I got, which was the eggs pancakes, bacon, and cheesy hash browns was only $6.99.The DeKalb skillet that made my mouth water was eggs, peppers, and sausage all mixed up was only $7.49. Those are great prices. At first I thought they were charging a little bit much but when you order the waiter will ask you if you want more food that comes with the dish, Once he finishes asking you , you will realize that you get plenty of food for your money, maybe for some people, too much food.
At Annie G’s you will feel welcome every time when you are eating your fantastic food, with great service. When you get the bill you will realize that you are getting a great amount of food for a great price at Annie G’s.
